Splendid stay in Ardtara Country House Ardtara Country House is such a wonderful haven nestled in Upperlands. Outstanding venue, peaceful location, delicious food and impeccable service combine together to make memorable stays. From the moment we arrived, GM Sean made us feel so welcome. The finite attention to detail created the beautiful warm atmosphere and perfect stay. Thank you to Sean, Leanne and all the staff. Beautifully Restored house Ardtara is a beautifully restored house.i particularly loved the working fireplace in the bed room and the Nespresso machine! Food was spectacular and the staff were very helpful & warm . It is an ideal spot to stay when exploring the antrim coast line . memorable We were made very welcome by Sean, the manager on arrival. Our room was spacious yet cozy and ideal for one with a disability. Outstanding 5 stars all the way ! We had a three night break at Ardtara and it was just what we wanted - a relaxing winter stay. The staff were outstanding, Matthew, Leanne , and Pedro who wrote a list of recommendations for his native Portugal. A small issue was sorted immediately and professionally. Excellent service and first class food. This was our second stay at Ardtara and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed immediately and shown to our room which was beautiful and so comfortable. The service in the bar and restaurant was second to none and the food was just delicious. We had the vegan tasting menu which was exceptional from start to finish. The whole experience was so chilled and we felt pampered throughout. An Absolute Gem!! Myself and my husband had a great stay at Ardtara. A warm and friendly welcome from Leanne and a tour of the charming country house . Beautiful secluded setting, a real relaxing retreat .Our room was wonderful with its its own fire so cosy at this time of year. I have to say the food was great , both our evening meal and then breakfast the following day . Excellant all round really ,the setting the staff and the food !! A delight We have been coming to Ardtara for around 20y and it never fails. The staff are always so welcoming and professional, the rooms are immaculate, so well fitted out and comfortable. We felt very special staying in the Master Bedroom. We had the tasting menu. My wife is vegetarian, but they already had a suitable menu designed. The food was really, really good, but the star was actually sweet potato ravioli with a dreamy sauce. The wine pairings were excellent. It was a pleasure to stay and dine here again.
